If you really must have it freestanding in the middle of a room somewhere, you could get around it by placing Moi’s invisible fence behind it, for example. I tried fixing this issue as I did with the TV, but it prevented Sims from pulling books out of it, which kind of defeats the purpose, so I figured this was the lesser of two evils. Normally you wouldn’t notice this, if the bookcase is standing against a wall, but you might if, say, you were to place it in the middle of a room with nothing behind it. The objects work and have the correct footprint, BUT there is a small issue with the bookcase: Sims will occasionally walk through half of it, not recognizing that it’s there. Roberta’s outfit has fat and pregnant morphs if you, uh, want to say that Isaac has upgraded her for reproductive functions. Alright, I intended to convert a few other things first, but since I got a bit distracted with building Evergreen Isles I decided I might as well release these instead of leaving them to languish in my downloads folder.
